I was able to visit Krista and Brad in Kentucky this weekend after a business trip to Tennessee. I drove up there on Thursday night. Brad left for the Final Four on Friday. Krista and I had some real good times seeing some of the sites in Louisville.
The Louisville Slugger bat museum. Did you know they have pink bats?
The Stoneware Shop. It was actually closed but I thought the ginormous teapot was awesome.
Lynn's Paradise Cafe with magic pants and crazy lamps. We had a fried green tomato sandwich, baked mac n cheese and a chicken with brie cheese salad drenched in delicious dressing.
The glass works museum. We watched them use a fire torch to make a wine glass and a flower vase with blown glass.
The home of the Kentucky Derby...Churchill Downs. The place looks like a five star resort.
Not only did we see some of Louisville's hotspots we also spent a lot of time eating. Here we are finishing off the weekend with a piece of brownie sundae cheesecake from the world famous Cheesecake Factory.
I live in Bountiful. I work as the Director of Operations for a Medical Device Company. I love to read! I love my dog Charlie! I love my Family, very much! I love to work! I like to run! I love to cook! I love fashion! I like trying new things! I love to travel! Stay a little while and learn some more things you don't know about me...
